This afternoon, Secretary of Education Duncan met with our group to hear the urban squash student perspective on the state of education today. This session was a part of the ongoing “Student Voices” series at the Department in which students engage with the Secretary and senior staff members to help develop recommendations on current and future education programs and policies.

We asked a ton of questions and gave Secretary Duncan an inside look on the challenges, successes and future recommendations to improve schools in our nation. With our common background in athletics and a passion for sports, the Tour had much to bond with Secretary Duncan!
